S6E27 We Can Send Missionaries

Father in heaven, as we look at this text this morning, God, you've worked in my heart a lot.

You've helped me a lot with this passage of scripture.

I am praying now this morning you'll help your people.

Speak to us, Lord God, and I pray you'd stir our hearts regarding the cause of missions.

And Lord God, I pray we'll do more than give.

We ought to be giving, Lord.

Honestly, if we're not involved in giving to missions, we're being very selfish.

I think we know that, Lord.

And we ought to be praying for missionaries.

And if we don't pray for missionaries, our heart is definitely not in the right place.

We already know these things, Lord.

We can do the giving and we can do the praying.

But this is the hard one, Lord.

Help us, Lord Jesus.

Help us prepare our hearts for what you have for us this morning.

Give us open ears and open hearts in Jesus' precious name.

Amen.

Now, is it distracting with those precious people next door? Maybe we just close over that door if it is, yeah? And make sure the front door is open, and we can have some air flowing through the building.

If anybody starts falling asleep, I may come down and eyeball you.

I hope you don't mind if I do that.

But I don't want you falling asleep, because there's some important things I want to say this morning.

Now, I want to tell you something.

I was convicted about a lot of stuff I'm going to say over the last few weeks.

I'm just being honest with you.

And if you're not convicted by some of these things in this message, there's something wrong with your convictor.
