Hey Groupchat welcome back to another episode of Good Company. We got a fun one for you today, we are reviewing Vice's Movie Pick of the month : Training Day. We also have Wumbo's Pick right after…
Shit, man.
Where do I start? Honestly, it was an amazing performance from both Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke.
From the beginning of the movie to the very end, it was captivating.
I was engaged.
I was locked in.
um i'm impressed that the whole story takes place within a day um and then there was one point my fiance was like no like i think there's there's like a time lapse and they showed you the sun go down or whatever but then it the sun went down even more i'm like now you just saw it go from like morning to like fucking afternoon yeah So, so much had happened in a day.
But the story that they had with it was fire.
His character was such an asshole.
But he was so charming with it, too.
Like, he was super slick.
He always had a way of getting his way.
Yeah.
And he was also just an asshole the way he was watching Jake, who was Ethan Hawke's character, trying to be a good police officer.
And he's just like smoking a cigarette while he's watching him fight these two bums who is like, oh, I'm gonna fuck you.
And I'm like, bro, you trying to stop these two girls, this girl from getting raped by these two bums.
And then the bums are like, oh, I'll rape you too.
And I'm like, nah, this is crazy.
And he's just smoking a cigarette watching it happen.
You knew he was married.
Narcotics.
