Police say they stopped the large group Sunday afternoon after officers observed some of the group on dirt bikes and motorcycles performing wheelies and disrupting traffic.

The LAPD's saying that they had heard that this was gonna happen, that a bunch of folks were going to be on the Sixth Street Bridge, and then they went there-

He's a former Marine, former LAPD, so we had a lot in common.

And after, like, two and a half years, he basically offered me the position, just out of the blue.

Speaking of a track, maybe that's where a group of minibike enthusiasts should have done their minihoggin and hotdoggin, because doing what LAPD officers described as illegal motorized minibike activities in the middle of a public bridge led to what you see here, many bikes busted in a minibike bust.

The department said more than 70 people were blocking the bridge, doing tricks and weaving through traffic on the motorized bikes, which were impounded after police responded.

They said since many of the participants were minors, the focus was on education and getting them home safely.

And it shows up and manifests itself particularly in courtrooms all across this country.

You have that all-white jury, virtually all-white jury in Simi Valley who decided to acquit, as I told you last week, and you know this by now, who in 1992 decided to acquit those 14, it was really I think four of them were on trial, but there were clearly at least 14 white LAPD cops beating the tar out of and off of, no pun intended, Rodney King on video.

And somehow those white jurors looked at that video and said, oh, no, nothing to see here.

It's time to acquit these good old cops because they were just doing their job and their job was to beat the black off the black man.

And Randy, this edition takes us to the 6th Street Bridge.

Interesting how the closer and closer we get to election day, the more the LAPD has the handcuffs taken off of them and is actually allowed to do their jobs.

Like when they hear about a massive minibike takeover on the 6th Street Bridge, they can actually block the thing off and cite and arrest everybody.

What a novel concept.
