Big Life Update!

I wonder what you're thinking right now.

I always wonder if people think when anyone says, not anyone, but like big announcement if people are like, did Haley get pregnant? I'm not pregnant.

But Bentley and I and the family are moving to Los Angeles, California.

We're finally doing it.

We're moving.

We are hoping to be out there by early summer, if all goes according to plan.

And if you've been here for a while, you know that this is something that we've been thinking about for a really long time.

It's been years.

I think it was like two and a half years ago, we decided to go do like a house swap.

Bentley had a friend who was subletting their house, so not a house swap, but we sublet someone's apartment.

And we lived in LA just for the month of February.

And that was kind of like, at that time we were like, okay, we think we want to move here.

Let's go check it out, like get a better feel for the city, see what it would be like.

And we went and the timing just didn't feel right.

It was nice to be there, but things just didn't line up.

And after that, we were kind of like, no, I think we still need to be in Utah for some time.

And things have just all of a sudden changed.

in a whole bunch of different facets of our lives really lined up to make this leap of moving.

And I've been reflecting a lot on why this feels so massive to me.

And I think it's partially because we don't have, we don't have to move.

Like we're not moving.

We are moving constantly.

in a lot of ways for reasons related to both Bentley's career and my career, but we don't have to move.

It's not like we're relocating because a job needs us somewhere.

We are simply moving because we want to be in a different place and we chose this place that we wanna be.
