Today, my guest is writer, editor, and former TV news anchor, Stacey Lindsay.

So Maria Shriver's Sunday paper is a powerful digital newsletter with a large scope that encompasses aging culture, spirituality, and aims to, quote, move humanity forward and rise above the noise.

It's one of the things we love about it.

I mean, you know, as a healer and a therapist, what it's like when you really are of service and you change your life, how that fills your soul, like multiply that by 10 million because of how deep this was in my heart, you know, and how personal it was to me.

So I was so inspired and I went home and I was meditating and Maria Shriver had reached out to me right before this retreat.

And said, you know, because I'd written a few things for Sunday paper.

And she said, this is what you write is so beautiful.

And here at Dave's, when Bill jumped out of Wetzel's and came to start Dave's up, they were able to secure Drake as the principal celebrity investor, the main one.

But other folks that are involved at Dave's are Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Strahan, Maria Shriver.

There are a ton of celebrity investors that are sort of in the wings.

But the Drake Association really helped sell franchises and helped put us on the map.

But I was very fortunate because I married a woman that understood that I have to work and she didn't complain about it.

So we got together and I understood that right away because of the family she came from, the Kennedy family, right? So Maria Shriver was like, she understood that all of her- Bobby Kennedy, she related to Bobby Kennedy? Exactly, yeah.

So if it is John F. Kennedy, if it was Bobby Kennedy Sr. when he ran for president, I mean, her father ran for president and for vice president and all of this.

So she was used to that everyone has to go out and

this is real.

And then out of the blue, Maria Shriver invited me to write a book.

And I was like, oh, okay, I guess this is happening.

I guess it works.

And this book is, Just like happened.

I mean, it was it just it just came to me and I wasn't even thinking yet about writing a book.

And I remember I had I what had happened is I reached out to Maria Shriver to Sunday paper.

You know, she has that Sunday paper.
