Should the Giants Extend Deonte Banks? + Mailbag | 229

Yeah, it was 100% crucial.

Like I said, once they made the switch to JJ McCarthy, where you're at, the reality is the Giants will not play a winning team until the Jaguars.

But the Texans are talented.

The Eagles are a mess, but that big Fangio defense can still pose you issues.

Like, you know, they...

They can be a little frisky.

And then I think the commanders are, you know, we tied them.

I think the commanders can be a tough challenge.

So not to throw away any of these opponents, but you had to come out 2-1.

So to start that stretch 1-0 against a team that is the most talented and should be a better situation with the Texans, I think is so nice.

And you get to go into the bye week with that.

If you went into the bye week with over a month of without winning a game.

I just think the vibes around this team are different where they're at 500 and it's like, all right, is this stuff about to fall through? Now it's like, let's lock in because we've got an opportunity to win.

So I think all of Giants Nation is excited for us.

I think that the Giants players realize what they have in front of them and it's time for them to go and do that.

So again, we're going to talk about McCarthy, banks newsome you know the run game even like a like there's a lot of fun stuff to talk about on this mailbag so let's get into it take it away steve
