I got to the door of the comedy society, like, meetings a couple of times, then bottled out.

And then I was away and I was like, "Ah, I've gotta kind of give it a go." Um, came back with a view to, like, moving to London so I could, b- uh, like, only so I could do open mics really.
Um, but then there's a, I don't, I think other comedians I've talked to experienced this, like, the long kind of starting, uh, process of, 'cause you're obviously deeply shit for, um-

But, like, yeah, so I think I probably had a bit of on and off then right up until, like, like I say, 2015, where, where I actually started fully in earnest.
I guess for me, uh, I was, like, about the generation where there was this, like, really good crop of stand-ups coming through, where it was kind of moving away from, uh, traditional stand-up, I suppose, into, like-
