The good news was that there was a major event here in Washington, DC at the Senate office building in the major, major caucus room in the United States Congress, the Kennedy Caucus Room, where they held the Watergate burglary hearings, public hearings in Congress, the Iran-Contra hearings.

Mike Rounds, Senator Rounds secured that venue for us to have that major hearing.

It's, uh, the UFO people all came together, uh, again under the auspices in this case of the UAP Disclosure Foundation.

Some, a little bit of the bad news is that Eric Burlison announced there at the gathering that he was reintroducing the UAP Full Disclosure Act, uh, in the House of Representatives.

It was, uh, HR 8800, which is the National Defense Authorization Act, and he was proposing amendment number 1044 for the, uh, National Defense Authorization Act to include in the, uh, full Senate bill that had been passed back in 2023.

The bad news is that Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House, has instructed the Rules Committee not to, uh, allow the bill, uh, even onto the floor for a vote.

were approved by the House of Representatives Rules Committee to be put on the floor for a vote to add to the National Defense Authorization Act of twenty twenty-seven, but they refused to, uh, allow the UFO Disclosure Act to get put into the National Defense Authorization Act.

Now, more good news is the fact that Mike Rounds and Chuck Schumer have again, uh, agreed to co-sponsor on the Senate side the inclusion of the U-UAP Disclosure Act into the National Defense Authorization Act, which is exactly what they did back in two thousand and three.

If that gets in, that that means then the entire thing would go over in the National Defense Authorization Act to the House side once again.

And then they would take it up in the conference committee between the House and Senate, and it would be on the agenda to be discussed again.

But that's only if in fact it's voted on in the Senate to include it into the National Defense Authorization Act as an amendment.

Now, so the-- it's up to Thune, Congressman John Thune, who is the, the majority leader over on the Senate side.

The problem is he's been taking directives directly from the Trump administration, just exactly like Mike Johnson is doing over on the House side.

And it's clear that the executive branch has resolved that it's not going to allow the Congress to become involved in making policy decisions about what's to be released and what is not to be released.

The executive branch has an attempt to head off the efforts on the part of the Congress to set up a review board to review all of the information that's in the possession of the executive branch and have the congressional side of our constitutional government be able to make the decision, the elected leaders, as to what's going to be revealed and what isn't to the public.

They're-- the executive branch is trying to keep it over in the executive branch side so that all of the people that are on the review board of what's to be released to the public are all non-elected appointees of the executive branch that can be fired, as now the Supreme Court has just made clear, can be fired at any time by the president.

Okay? So they're all under the whip hand of Donald Trump, which means, in effect, they're under the whip hand of Stephen Miller, who is the, is the extremely conservative domestic policy advisor to Trump.

So the-- now that they've said that, uh, they're, they're going to be appointing a governance board, which I raised last time in our last, uh, sitting together, and they're all people from the executive branch.
