Now, I don't know if you guys watch many horror movies, but there is a trope that you sometimes see in horror movies today, which I call the unexpected success trope.

To give you an example, there's a movie that came out in 2010 called The Last Exorcism.

The plot of this movie is there's this cynical pastor who for years has performed fake exorcism in exchange for money, right? He uses all these tricks, other things, you know, fog machine, that sort of thing, to convince his audience that he's really battling against the spiritual world.

And he decides, I'm going to admit that what I'm doing is fake.
