Find Out What They Like - (MAGA Bathhouses, Michelle Visage PREP Outrage & No More Wonder Man)

We just released our interview with Dr. Gregory King.

Yes.

Who came on the pod and we talked about Cat's Jellicle Ball and we discussed why we think it's closing early and what are the contributing factors in the Broadway system as a whole.

And we talked about, you know.

Yeah, we asked some bigger questions.

Possible ways to alleviate this problem on a larger scale.

We got deep.

Yeah, why do some shows get grace for a time and some don't? Yeah.

Was part of the question.

Something as groundbreaking as this, not getting more time, is a question.

It's a serious question.

And in part, and I mentioned this yesterday, Maybe part of the answer is doing these releases in movie theaters.

Now, this is obviously an edited version, but it is the stage play.

It's filmed on stage like Hamilton was.

And is this another way to create a revenue stream that can help these shows? was the question, because Met Live, I don't know if they still do it, but Elizabeth was talking about this, that you used to be able to go see opera live.

It was like a simulcast in a movie theater.

So while the performance is happening at the Met in New York, you could go to a movie theater in Chicago, and it was like $25, and I don't know what it would be now, and watch the same performance.

Yes.

And that expands the reach.

It creates more accessibility.

I doubt it minimizes the audiences on Broadway itself.

Because the people that are going to Broadway, I think, are going to Broadway.

And the people who can't never get there.

They might see it when it tours, or they

may never see it.
