It started with Andre De Shields and my dad was visiting and we were like, we were actually trying to get tickets to like, I think Motown was in town or the Temptations musical, whatever was there.

And it was sold out.

And so I was like, let's go try this Hadestown.

Like truly.

Like Andre De Shields.

What's happening? Just like recognized.

I mean, it's also just so funny because I think in like every award, every award show in every category, like you'll always see that kind of, like you see like the beginners and you also see the people that have been working for many years and then you see the legends.

She's above the title and everything.

Meanwhile, we have other legends in here like Andre De Shields.

Right.

At the time, she was probably arguably the bigger star because of television.

Ooh.

Yeah.

It, cause like they, they have various styles going on where there's like the upbeat and there's a ballad and then, and then Andre De Shields does a little snake dance that, you know, will turn anybody, anything.

The Vipers drag.

You know what I mean?

I mean, like these bios, when you get the play when you walk in, you get experience includes playing Dorothy and the Wiz opposite Andre the Shields, because that's what they got to do in this

class.

That was a big part, too.

They are true lighthouses.

I'm never going to forget bullying Andre the Shields.

I feel like I'm always playing jokes on him, bullying him, giving him new things every show, making him laugh.

You've got to say more about that.

He's done a bunch of stuff.

Then there's Andre the Shields.

The original Hermes from Hadestown.
