RIP Star Wars Insider [279]

And a big announcement just happened this week here.

We got word that there's this thing called Star Wars The Experience.

It'll be a museum exhibition event.

um starting at the franklin institute in 2027 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of star wars episode 4 a new hope um personally i love the franklin institute it's in philadelphia and it's one of my favorite museums out there in the world they usually do some type of running exhibition but like you know it's the main exhibits itself are just really world-class and state-of-the-art and boy do i have some fond memories of being there with my family back in the early 2000s.

It's definitely

a great site to go to if you're in the Philadelphia area.

Maybe this generates some great tourism there.

So it'll open up on February 13th, 2027, coinciding with that 50th anniversary.

I think it'll also coincide with the re-release of the 50th anniversary of A New Hope in theaters again.

Um, so that'd be great.

And it's, I think it's going to be touring the, uh, I don't think it, I know it's going to be touring, uh, North America over the next five years.

So it's going to be going from place to place.

Um, it's going to feature, uh, legacy props and storytelling.

Um, I'm seeing things like Darth Maul's lightsaber hilt, Vader's armor, some aliens, droids, creatures.

It looks like Grogu is going to be there.

Um, From the Mandalorian and Grogu, of course, too.

R2 and 3PO.

Some stuff from Andor.

A full-size speeder bike.

Looks great.

I think it's going to be fantastic.

Again, the Franklin Institute is a world-class, state-of-the-art museum.

So you won't want to definitely miss out on that.

Or if it even comes closer to where you're at, because it's going to be there from February through September of 2027.

And then they'll go where it goes next from there.
