R2-D2

BT-1 is a Star Wars droid, an assassin droid.

It basically looks like R2-D2, but all black and evil.

ESPN dropped this promo yesterday of an animated C-3PO and R2-D2 landing on Tatooine, the desert planet.

So you see this recognizable scene here that includes R2-D2 and C-3PO and Darth Vader and but you can see Iron Man there as well.

And there's also a couple of preview pages that show the Death Star, you see Captain America's shield, you see Thor and the Fantastic Four and Black Panther, everybody kind of rushing in against these stormtroopers.

In a way, it almost reminds me of Secret Wars, the original Secret Wars, back in the day, because I don't really know what to expect, just like I didn't back with that story, but it is in space and it is all the heroes of the Marvel Universe teamed up together in a way like Secret Wars was.

Well, the robots I've seen so far just look like gonk droids or R2-D2.

R2-D2, yeah.

With like name tags.

Yeah, I feel a visceral rage when I see them and I just want to fight.

Yeah, one of the things I love about the Clone Wars is that, you know, for every story arc we get, which is Jar Jar impersonating the boss on Naboo while they're dealing with something, or we get an Anakin and Padme episode, every once in a while they will just remind us that this really is about a war.

And, you know, we just got off the two episodes of R2-D2 and C-3PO, Wandering the Galaxy, Solving Problems, and then they've come back in a major way.

with letting us know the horrors of war that were the Clone Wars.

So voiced apparently by Duff Goldman, who is from a show called Ace of Cakes, which I've never seen because it's a US show on the Food Network, an actual baking show.

And in their previous season of Ace of Cakes, they'd based an entire episode on an R2-D2 cake.
