Welcome back everyone to another episode in my Program Showcase series. Today we're talking all about Noir Independent from Atlanta, Georgia. I sat down with Director Corey Hawkins and a few of his…
Corey HawkinsGuestBrookeGuestMelissaGuestDevinGuestAlexGuestYeah,
All right.
So before we talk about 26, I do have just some questions, kind of like how your design process works and everything.
So when are you in the, when do you start that concept and planning stages? When are you thinking about the next year and who all is involved in picking the design for the program?

It starts off in Dayton, typically, once we get there about, you know, what are we doing next year? So we're just throwing out, you know, the mood and music ideas and making the playlist and getting that going and just throwing out different ideas to see what sticks.

So we talk about the show from now until, you know, probably August, September before it shows, you know, finally finalized, but it just a lot of just talking back and forth.
Yeah.
I can only imagine, especially being in such a competitive group, you know, you're not just some local independent agar that stays at home.

I think I'm the problem because the past three years with new art, we will pick a show the day before staging begins because we have this whole show in my head is going to work out.
do any of them ever give input on what they think you should do?
Yeah,
All right.
