What needs to change after opening night?

So I think if you're looking at the profile of it, our over-unders were essentially the exact same, right? So we're both predicted to be even level as regular season teams with maybe the slight edge to the Celtics just because we're deep in Missoula ball and like the Knicks have not been a huge regular season win team.

And historically teams coming off a title.

Like I wrote about this a long time ago, but it was something like on average, lose like 10 more games the next season.

Often that's because they won like 64 or 65.

So then they dropped down to like the mid fifties doesn't always happen.

Right.

Golden state won a title and then won 73 games.

But again, The Knicks are I don't think they give a shit about the regular season.

They probably shouldn't because they're built for the playoffs.

They've never been a great regular season team.

And like this game is ultimately meaningless for both of these teams.

Am I going to feel like that if we lose? Absolutely not.

Yeah.

But I think, look, Mitchell Robinson was a problem for us at times.

Defensively, he really mucked up our offense in a lot of ways.

We could not keep him off the offensive glass.

Turning him into Andre Drummond and then him being on our team, I think especially insofar as you're looking at the regular season, is a huge change.

That's a huge mix-up.

And I think we're going to be much hungrier to get.

We have a lot more to prove than the Knicks do this season.

I think this game's going to mean a lot more to us.

And it's our home opener, right? Yeah.

Yeah, so I don't think we're doomed to lose this game at all.

And in fact, I think we're going to win.

And then the Knicks will probably rip off like seven straight and be seven and two.
