Over his last two seasons at Notre Dame, he had nearly 2,500 rushing yards, added 55 catches for another 517 yards, and hit pay dirt 40 times in total.
The resume speaks for itself, and is a big reason why he's already drawn comparisons to Adrian Peterson, which may be a bit premature, but says a lot about his talent level.
That said, it's natural to be a little apprehensive given his recent ankle injury and the current state of Arizona's QB and running back situation.
The ankle doesn't appear to be a long-term concern, but is worth monitoring given that it's of the high variety.
On the plus side, though, it does present a nice opportunity to get him at a discount.
We've seen Allgeier steal touches and vulture touchdowns from Bijan Robinson over the last two years, so I'm anticipating history to repeat itself a bit with Love.
And assuming his ankle injury is minor, he should be locked in to at least 15 touches a game out the gate.
