Tesla Roadster is happening?, Kia EV3 in US, gas pumps replaced, and more

Um, let's start with the Roadster.

So two things that happened this week with the Roadster.

Earlier this week, uh, Franz von Holzhausen, the, um, chief designer at Tesla, was on, uh, Jay Leno.

Uh, unrelated to Tesla stuff, actually.

He was showing off his, um, Pontiac Solstice with a V, uh, V, uh...

To be honest, I, I skipped through the whole episode 'cause I, I [laughs] don't-

[laughs]

...

I don't care about V8 engines.

Sorry.

Uh, but I, I think, I think it was a V8 in inside his, uh, Solstice.

So for those who don't know, back when he was working at GM or, or, or S- or Saturn, really, um...

Yeah, G- uh, Saturn was under GM, right? Back in the day.

Yep.

Yeah, okay, I'm not wrong about that.

Uh, Franz is the one that, uh, designed the, the Solstice, and obviously sold this as a Roadster.

So Roadster is coming up, [laughs] or should be.

So Jay Leno, you know, ends the show by asking him, like, "Yeah, this is, looks you- you're pretty good at designing Roadster.

Let's, uh, I'm looking forward to the Tesla Roadster." And he said, "Very soon," which obviously can...

Jay Leno kind of laughed at because it's been very soon for a decade at this point.

But now, so that was just, like, that was nothing.

But, uh, the information, and the information, the, the website, the publication, uh, uh, has, uh, kind of been the leading the, the, the coverage when it comes to [laughs] the Roadster, and they, they had a couple report over the last few months, and they've been claiming that a demo is planned for August for the last few months now.

They came out with a new report this morning, or yesterday, last night.

Anyway, I got, uh, got to check it out this morning, uh, where they, they released a lot more details about it.

Uh, looks at, so...
