I've come around on it a little bit, Jack, but in the moment it was a terrible loss, and it probably still is a terrible loss objectively because if you look at the score here on the screen, we were up 14-6.

What are your thoughts on this game and – I guess, what were your thoughts initially, and then have you had some time to kind of muddle it over and kind of think about it, or are you still the same feelings about it?

I mean, it was first – like, the first half was shaping up to be an all-time – bc wake forest three nothing kind of game um that was and you know our credit to our defense they're playing well um i think we were i think we're the beneficiaries of the conditions more so than they were they they seem to be more effective that than um than our guys were

um i mean ethan grunkmeyer i think he only threw for like 140 yards um So I think our defense did a tremendous job on him until obviously the fourth quarter.

But I walked away, and obviously Mason left his heart out there on the field, played a great game, almost 140 rushing yards just by himself.

I mean, my main takeaway, though, was after that loss, I was like, What's our offense really going to look like realistically outside of a Mason-McKenzie RPO or something like that? Let me pull up the box score.

Yeah, it was like 150 yards out of 160 total yards that offense ran through Mason-McKenzie.

Yeah, and it's not sustainable, especially for a team that – You know, we came into this year with a lot of question marks up front in terms of like protecting him.

I mean, we're four games in and that was like a crazy sort of weather situation where Virginia Tech clearly wasn't prepared for it.

I think teams are going to catch up faster than we can innovate on this Mason heliocentric offense.

I think Virginia Tech made some, had some drops, made some mistakes, especially in the first half that really limited them and BC was the beneficiary.

Um, but yeah, I haven't really come around on anything, uh, really positive in terms of, in terms of the offense at least.

There's only so much positive you can have on it, and I think you nailed it, Jack.

I will say, it was a crazy, rainy, windy day that day, and... know three three quarters through i was feeling really good like the first quarter even when people were thinking it's going to be a three nothing you know zero to zero like through the quarter i was feeling good i was like this is exactly the type of game bc needed to play and he's kind of stuck to that game plan And then, of course, as the game continued, when they went up 14, when they went up eight points, you're thinking, wow, I think that, you know, you're thinking they're going to pull that off, to be honest, even as a BC fan.
