Luke Murray

See discover.com slash five for details.

I truly believe that Luke Murray is going to bring changes to Boston College that is going to revitalize this program and make BC basketball something you'll be proud of again.

Hello everyone and welcome.

This is locked on Boston College, your team every day.

I don't think other coaches here got, and he's been able to flip the roster to bring talent and depth.

And by just doing that, You're going to get fans back into the into the stands and you're going to get fans excited.

You're getting people who have not been paying attention for the last five to 10 years suddenly listening because they want to know more about Luke Murray.

They want to know about who all these players are because he's going to bring an exciting, noticeable brand of basketball back to Conte Forum.

But

Luke Murray! Luke Murray! That's

right.

That's

We talked about it before the show, but...

You know, he's coming in as, like, Luke Murray's UConn, token UConn bench guy that never played last year.

And coming into the season, I was not really expecting – like, I thought he'd be, like, a fine transfer piece off the bench.

But as we've gotten more and more film and information about the team and how the roster is coming together, it seems like he's probably going to be in a starting role.

Honestly, I was in the same bucket as you, Jack, where I was like, oh, that's interesting for if he's going to go to the ACC tip-off.

But I do like this whole, I mean, as the UConn transfer, I mean, it just hypes up the whole idea of like, I mean, the significant changeover.

The significant impact of bringing in Luke Murray from, of course, UConn, who's spent a new two national championships in the last few years.

Like this is significant.

Also wanna shout out, we have a new stu- we have a student who reached out who's going to be writing for the site, Malcolm Portera, uh, who just did a whole deep dive into some of the recruits that BC is going after in basketball, and kinda dove into what they could in, in Luke Murray's offense.

Uh, he's a student at BC, so, um, I wanted to give him an opportunity.

I hope you guys check that out.

He was a four-star recruit, really highly rated when he came to UConn and just didn't get to play last year because they had so much other talent in front of him.

Obviously, if he's going on this trip, Luke Murray and that team know him, trust him, and see him as an important person in this group.

That's very interesting to hear about because I think that's going to be a good sign about the depth and talent of this team, which we just keep hearing more and more about.

So that is coming up, I believe, on October 5th.

They're doing another cool thing too with basketball.

They're doing an open scrimmage for the students.

Hit a home run, Luke Murray, because what's been the one thing that I keep saying you need to get more of is student support.

And yeah, you're a big name, but make them feel invited.

Shree Carr, our guy right there in the middle, third.

number one overall pick aj depanza fourth and then hanush steinbeck who ends up being who's going to be a big piece of what the charlotte hornets are doing going in the top 15 of the draft uh he's the he's the missing link and he's going up to play for luke murray who i'm so excited to talk to at media day next week uh this guy has real talent he's got broad shoulders he's built to score he played in the top league the top slovenian league last year and put up big numbers This is a guy with professional games under his belt.

He's still young.

And let's be honest, too.

There were rumors of him coming to the United States last year.

Luke Murray gets the job at BC.

He brings Srikar with him.

He's going to make a major impact.
