Jacob Furphy

You did not have a go-to scorer.

You're bringing in Jacob Furphy, about as close to a blue-chip recruit as you can get, that Luke Murray knows very well and knows what he can do.

You have all of these guys, whether it's Luke Hunger, Colby Duggan, Ernest Shelton, Brandon Benjamin.

There's so many guys that you're going to be watching this year that could play roles for this team, and it's building something here.

You know, I'll just say for myself, putting up an episode, you're going to get more views because people are going to want to hear about this team.

That is the dedication that starts at Boston College, and thankfully they've bucked the trend of what they've done in the past, and they brought someone in that feels like a big deal.

And on Tuesday, everything that Luke Murray said, everything Money Williams and Jacob Furphy said, solidified that in my brain.

That they have the right guy right now, and that this program is in the best shape it's been in since Al Skinner.

Um, additionally, when you're looking at this offense, so you have Money Williams, that's gonna be your centerpiece.

You have to also talk about Jacob Furphy.

And Jacob Furphy, you know, is that transfer from Yukon who knew Luke Murray with the Huskies.

He was a four-star recruit, the top recruit out of Australia.

Never found his way onto the f- uh, to the court last year with the Huskies.

I'm not going away from football, but you know, we'll probably talk a little bit more some basketball things as we, as, as things come along.

It's the ACC Tipoff this week, so we'll get some basketball updates.

We'll hear from Luke Murray and Money Williams and Jacob Furphy, who are all heading to Charlotte's to, uh, Charlotte to represent BC.

About ACC tip-off, interesting that...

Jacob Furphy will be one of the two representatives.

We talked about it before the show, but...

You know, he's coming in as, like, Luke Murray's UConn, token UConn bench guy that never played last year.

But it did make me interested because they're sending Money Williams, which I assume they would because he's like the new star of this team.

But Jacob Furphy is going.

And this is big news because...

I think a lot of folks talked about a lot of different players going into the summer about who's going to be the next star of this team or who's going to be there to be with money Williams.

And a lot of people thought it would be Brandon Benjamin or Ernest Shelton.

Jacob Furphy came in quietly because he didn't do a whole lot with Yukon last year.

He played like 16 games, but didn't really do much offensively, but you read, what all these different reporters are saying.

I just saw basket under review, which is a great newsletter that was out there.

This is a deep team, and if things play out well for Boston College, they could be very dangerous.

You've got the Money Williams, who, as Trevor said, was one of the more consistent players during that, and Jacob Furphy, who probably is going to start.

And Furphy is, again, another under-the-radar player, top recruit from Australia, knows Luke Murray and what he's going to expect.

All of this builds together to a team that I know I can speak for myself.
