We will be talking about just, you know, some players more generally, but we are on this episode talking a lot about rookies.
This does go to the Ted Hurst hype a little bit, but we were in on Ted Hurst before the hype, right? I think we both had a higher grade on Ted Hurst than we did on Deshaun Stribling from a a film perspective.
Um, and we had, he had a better grade, similar DC, obviously Deshaun Stripling gets, you know, the 32nd pick or the 33rd pick, uh, first pick of the second round.
But I think, uh, Hearst was a third round pick if I'm not mistaken, both decent DC, you know, or comparable at least.
you know, is it good process to push a guy up who we don't really believe in over a guy we do just because of the, I mean, I think this is why we're doing it because of the DC, because of the draft capital.
I think my biggest thing when I look at the John's dribbling is that there is a player who will be on the field often.
I think that had everything to do with the fact that his blocking prowess and ability we knew from the onset was going to most realistically compete with Jawan Jennings.
And so I saw Dejan Stripling being a player who most likely was going to be on the field significantly more than a lot of other rookies that would probably be drafted in and around him, like Jeremy Bernard, for instance, as a great example.
And that isn't because I like Dejan Stripling as the... as the point scoring asset, but I think that he turns into the better value play in Dynasty and a better play for the people that are listening to us to get off of faster.
He would be the guy that I would say to draft earlier and be able to trade for at a higher premium Because I think that that opportunity is going to present itself at a quicker clip than, for instance, a Ted Hurst, who I think will have some probably adaptation period.
