Caleb Downs on Dak’s Record, Covering Stefon Diggs and Facing Lamar Jackson in Brazil | Downs 2 Business Ep. 29

37-20 over division rival Commanders.

Tell us about it.

Nah, we needed a win, so super excited about that.

Wasn't all clean and everything, but at the end of the day, a win's a win.

So we're just excited to have that and then keep going from there, keep trying to improve on what we need to improve on and keep doing what we're doing.

Hey, man, that's all you can ask for.

Good home opener win, man.

Nine tackles in the PBU.

How do you assess your game yesterday, and how do you improve from there?

Yeah, I mean, played well in a lot of ways.

Need to be more critical on some things because at the end of the day, you have to be, and that's just what it is.

So got to fix some things from a coverage standpoint as a defense, and then...

Got to fix some things in the run game for how we fit certain things.

But at the end of the day, we just got to keep doing what we're doing.

Keep trying to find ways to get better.

Facts.

How can y'all improve as a defense as a whole? Where do you feel y'all need to get better? Not that you're worried about anybody else, but just as a group, what do you think y'all can improve on?

Yeah, as a whole, I mean, at the end of the day, I think any defense job is communicating and knowing where your next person is going to be.

So I feel like just being more comfortable playing with each other and knowing like, okay, they run these certain plays, this guy's going to be here.

And I know he's got my back.

And I know if he's there that I can take an extra step here and cover something.

So just playing together and having more compatibility with each other, I feel like that'll That'll make us better as a defense.

Facts.

Definitely feel that.

Take us through that PBU, man.
