Um, CJ Gardner Johnson, who, uh, in my estimation has been the best player in Bill's camp so far, not just from the defensive side of the ball, offensively and defensively CJ Gardner Johnson has been the best bills player throughout training camp this first week.
We're seeing a lot of checks already from the bills defense in terms of, you know, what coverage is there running based on the look they're getting presented.
You know, if they're going from a three by one to a two by two, if it's, you know, more of a spread going into a condensed look, you know, the type of motion that's happening and CJ Gardner Johnson has been at the forefront of that communication process.
Actually, D Alford and him have been good in communication with one another.
But a huge cog in that machine has been C.J. Garner-Johnson giving everybody direction.
And then off the field, he's working with all kinds of DBs, like going over technique and positioning and, you know, if a receiver – If you're lined up in this spot on the receiver, you know what to do with your hands here, your feet here.
Like he's been a true leader on and off the field, which has been great to see.
And then he's been making plays good run fits, you know, if bullets were live, he would have had multiple tackles already in and around the line of scrimmage.
You know, whether he's in the box pre snap or spur or coming from depth and fit in the run.
Multiple good plays and coverage, you know, plays on the ball, but also matching routes.
Match coverage from the safeties, Bishop and CJ Gardner-Johnson have really been good at that.
