Viking Cruises

I am Kat Johnson, and I am joined today by Andy Fuentes from Viking.

Hi,

Thank you for having me.

We're excited.

We always love talking about Viking because there's always so much to talk about.

Everybody seems to know the Viking name.

I happen to be the number one producing agent for Viking in the world.

There you go.

Ten years.

So

I saw the video.

And so just like the commercial, I truly believe that was the president and CEO of Viking.

Yeah.

And I was like, Amy.

One of the companies that I worked with, and I've worked with a few of them, was the cruise line industry.

And we worked with Viking companies.

when they were river cruises and then when they were ocean cruises, and now they are doing other things.

But there are 10 big ships that hold 800 people, and they sail around the world.

And the customers are living inside there with the staff.

And how do you get the staff to pay attention to everything that's going on so that they really create an experience for those people? Viking is extremely successful.

And I'm not doing any more of their seminars for them, but the ideas are still being taught.

They bought the program from me and they're still teaching these programs.

Um, I just did a bouquet for one of my parents best friends.

They did a Viking like river cruise, you know, one of those river cruises over in Paris.

And she surprised her husband with a 25 year vow renewal on the boat.

And I recreated her original bridal bouquet from a picture.

I mean, I don't plan to, but if I had to.

Maddie! I would do a cruise if it was like one of those Viking river cruises or something like that.

What do you mean a

Viking river cruise?

You go through Europe.

Yeah, on the rivers.

You've heard of that? If you watch

PBS, they show a lot of ads.

So these 10 things are focused on things that we loved about the UK, things we loved about the ports we visited, some info about the logistics.

And while it's not focused on the food, on Viking ocean ships in particular, because we have a separate episode about that, we are going to tell you something special that we did like in terms of the food and how it weaved into the itinerary for this trip that is a nice...

I'm kind of questioning saying surprise because we're telling you some inside info.

So it might not be a surprise, but maybe you'll book it and then you'll forget and then it'll be a surprise again when you're on the cruise.
