We talk about why we missed last week's episode, what we were going to talk about last week (our DCL Adventure activities) and potential future plans. May contain traces of things not ever coming in…
So one thing I want to touch on this week and that I had done during not this week just gone but the previous week was to go through and to book our cruise activities.
Yes.
And the only person so far that I've had the chance or the only people so far that I've had the chance to share this with is Christine who – Oversees our Disney travel and helps us out with all our bookings.
Obviously you because it's your trip too.
And Michelle because...
You know, we kind of live vicariously through each other's trips.
That's how it works.
This is the way.
But I thought it would be kind of cool to just go through some of the cruise activities that I managed to get booked in because...
I think that we've spoken largely previously about how on our first cruise, which funnily enough was with Michelle and the wonderful Stephen Clamasco, that we didn't really enjoy being first seating for dinner because it meant that we felt very rushed.
Mm-hmm.
But what we found in subsequent cruises is that you kind of lose that late evening stuff.
You pretty much like end up eating, maybe doing one thing and then going to bed.
Yeah.
Because dinner is so late
for the second sitting.
What's the first seating time? Is it like 6 o'clock or
something? Usually about between 5.30, 5.45, around that time.
Right.
whereas the second seating is around 8 to, between 8 and 8.30, I've found, or 8 and
8.15.
So you could like have, like if you had the earlier dinner, you could have your dinner and then you could have like another snack a bit later on if you wanted to.
Exactly.
But the, yeah.
The late dinner kind of like, yeah, it kind of ruins that idea.
