I know some wonderful writers, Irvin Bloomin Welsh, Russell T. Davis, people who will read my stuff and either encourage or tell me how bad it is, you know, both equally helpful.

And then trying to get a publisher without a – I don't have a literary agent.

So, you know, you have to buy the big writer's yearbook.

I've always really, you know, when lovely things happen like this, I always want to reach out to the creatives involved to make sure, you know, they know that their work is appreciated.

I sort of learned that from Russell T. Davis as well.

You know, whenever he had something nice to say about something, I'd just get a little text sort of complimenting something that I'd done.

I, I remember, like, waiting all week to see End of the World and, and watching that and just being absolutely hooked.

And then I think the Unquiet Dead completely solidified it for me.

I want to do Gregory Maguire at some point.

And I want to do the Russell T Davies ones if he ever does a Scottish thing for this new book.

Just putting that out into the ether.

Anyway, Sally Potter and Tilda Swinton began collaborating on Orlando before the script had even been written.
