Very big inspiration is Kingdom Hearts, and that's kind of how the whole thing started.

And yeah, it's a big focus on like in action RPG combat and with 3D platforming exploration and with like a heavy focus also on story, which I really love this kind of combination.

Yeah, I made like a whole video actually beginning of this year on YouTube, just like breaking down.

I mean, it's still like, you know, hasn't really become like a strong genre yet because there's yet for one of the games, like several are being developed, but none of them is out yet.

But yeah, the way I describe it is like what makes it different from others is like three major elements, which is like it being an action RPG and 3D platforming being in the game and also having like a heavy focus on story.

And I think these three things is like what makes it, you know, this kind of genre.

And for me personally, like ever since I was a kid, when I played Kingdom Hearts back in the early 2000s, And I've kept always looking for that game.

And like every time I pick up the controller and play a new game, it's like, it doesn't quite feel like that kind of game.

So now with several of like indie games, making these kind of games, I'm starting to feel that when I pick up the controller.

And also the same thing that inspired me to make Luminous Knights is like, I want to play a game just like Kingdom Hearts.

What do you think it is about that experience with Kingdom Hearts? Because there's lots of action RPGs out there and there's games that you could say fall into the same genre.

Is it just the right mix up of how the story plays out or what is it that you're trying to get into your game that evokes that feeling that you had when you first played Kingdom Hearts?

Yeah, this is one thing many people maybe misinterpret when they see Kingdom Hearts.

They think a lot of times, because of the marketing, of course, a lot of times they think, oh, it's popular because it's Disney or Final Fantasy.

I think it would not have become this popular if not for this amazing combination of two big franchises.

But I think they also really just nailed the gameplay, like back in 2000 when they made that game.
