Thrill and Eric discuss the MLB season, injuries, and their personal experiences playing in the big leagues. They talk about the upcoming retirement ceremony for Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper's throat…
Uh, Thrill, we're in a really special time of year where we have all these pennant races happening.
You have the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians going at it in the American League Central Division.
In the AL West you have the Astros and the Rangers, both teams separated by one game entering today.
You were part of one of the most epic pennant races of all time in 1993, playing with the San Francisco Giants.
And, uh, we were, we were kind of doing a great job in the West and kind of running away with it, you want to know the truth.
And then we hit August, and man, we had some injuries and then, uh, we just didn't play good baseball.
And we, you know, had a pretty damn good September, as did the Braves, but we went into the last day of the season tied.
and-I swear to God, you, you would've, you would've thought, you know, his world was crumbling around him.
We actually scored first, I think, and then the Dodgers just came back on us and wound up beating the crap out of us.
But, uh, you know, the, to go down 162 games to the last day of the season, and you know, the Braves had 104 wins, we had 103.
