It just so happens that it had a lot to do with some of the personalities on the Cardinals roster that just didn't mesh with the personalities of the people on the Giants roster.

And, I mean, look, the rivalry started way before Will Clark and Ozzie Smith when Will really was attacked at second base.

But that's kind of the way it was.

You know, there were guys on that team that They just didn't like each other.

And you know as well as anybody, since the Giants moved from New York to California, having left-handed power has been a bugaboo of theirs forever.

That number, 265, that ISO, is one matched only by Barry Bonds, Willie McCovey, and Will Clark.

So On one hand, if you're a Giants fan, you say to yourself, we've got this left-handed slugger that we've always wanted.
