~*ICED COFFEE AT AN INTERVIEW*~

all right so let's get into our first story of the day which is A story that I'll just tell you because it has been dividing the internet and it might be dividing the generations, I would have to say.

So a job recruiter made a TikTok basically giving advice on how to have a better interview.

And she says, don't come in with your iced coffee to an interview.

It kind of shows that this just seems like an errand on your day and it's distracting and it just looks a little messy.

And there was a quite a lot of discourse And I would have to say, love you, Gen Z, love my Gen Z listeners.

But it does seem that a lot of the Gen Z population was saying that they didn't see a problem with this at all.

And some people were saying that, you know, it is just an errand on my day unless I've gotten the job.

It's like, okay, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no folks out there.

You have to treat an interview like you're going to work.

You have to look polished.

You have to have a nice outfit on like a suit, probably depending on the interview, not necessarily a suit for everything.

Like, you know, most of the interviews I'm getting these days are I only have to go in when I'm meeting with like a new agent or manager or it's like a meeting.

So I don't have to wear a suit or anything super

fancy.

But you know, for a man like button up, nice slacks, nice shoes, these people who are saying like, I don't know, you just, you have to put your best foot forward

in these situations.

Wouldn't you say? And so my issue with the iced coffee is, particularly iced.

I don't know why they said iced.

I mean, I feel like it's probably just any drink in general, except for like a water bottle.

Cause you know, when you're in an interview, oftentimes you do get thirsty, parched as I am right now.

Excuse me.

I'm going to take a little sip.

So I don't think there's anything wrong with having a little

sip of

water.
