Kenan WalkerGuestSo if you haven't watched it yet, full spoilers ahead for what is easily the biggest episode of the season.
First of all, you could dive into the chaotic nature of this episode where everything sort of metaphorically and quite literally hits the fan.
But as opposed to just diving right into it, we get to see a little bit of Carrie Kane's origin story.
But what I loved about this scene specifically is it gives us so much with so little.
We see Zoe, the way that she's integral to this community, nine years prior to when this series really has started in the 2016 part of this timeline.

So one thing that I've been enjoying the DCE doing is building relationships Gotham in the background without necessarily having to give us Batman and all these things but we're learning bits and pieces about Gotham the corruption there and the existence of the mobsters and so we're like okay what was Carrie's dad involved in how close was she to him like she wasn't upset that he was dead so I'm like

me but clearly things were not going great for Miss Carrie Kane or her papa and luckily she made the right stop
It was almost a set of perfect circumstances, right? The car breaks down, she pushes it to the diner, and Zoe is there.
as well as her willingness to bring somebody sort of into the fold and that pinky moment to me just really does explain how far she's willing to push something to sort of get what she needs out of it and you see why carrie has maybe led our heroes astray during the first half of this season And then we cut to 2016 where things are just, it's the perfect sort of little break, which I really liked because obviously season or season four, episode four ends on a massive cliffhanger.
I would say not even, it's not contextually the biggest, but thematically it's the real schism of our characters so far.
Here's all the things clearly that I've been doing that you're not necessarily happy with.
