Justice League Dark

There's just a bunch of good stuff.

But, like, if you enjoy Halloween stories, if you like holiday specials and you like Zatanna, Constantine, or any of the more Justice League Dark level of people, it was good.

Okay.

Not life-changing, but, like, I had...

Oh, I think that she is a player in the...

Did you read Justice League Dark?

Yeah.

Yeah.

There's been a number of series over the years.

But he's also had appearances in other comics over the years, like Swamp Thing, Justice League Dark, Batman.

And where I just really enjoy him is the animated shows.

Some of the animated shows where he's been in, he's just been excellent and So if you're interested in DC supernatural, I don't want to call it horror.

Obviously he's a fucking ghost and he has combat skills, but most importantly, he's a ghost that takes over people.

He was in Justice League Dark.

I believe he took over Batman's body to try to get the team together.

That might have been in the movie or the animated movie.

But back to this, I think with the characters that are part of the more mystical side of DC, I think they fit James Gunn's tone really, really well.

I'm talking Shadow Pack, Justice League Dark, all those guys.

And if that does happen... then I think we have a really good opportunity to get Hal back as the Spectre.

Now, I know what you're saying, that it's such a big idea and it's so different than what we got with Lanterns.

I did mention that, you know, I was just getting back into comics around this time.

And I didn't collect these titles, but I did collect Justice League Dark.

We actually reviewed that issue previously as well.

So be sure to go out and check out our Justice League Dark issue or episode.

There was a period of time where the League book took a little bit of a hiatus once this ended.

But in 2024, a new series called Justice League Unlimited premiered.

Swamp Thing, which was which was like the one of the more promising things from the announcement, because I think I think that James Gunn is capable of helping to usher in a cool swamp thing.

If a little bit of thought had been put into this, there is what is called the Justice League Dark.

The Justice League Dark has Hellblazer and Swamp Thing and Wonder Woman and lots of interesting kind of magical and magic adjacent characters on it.

Um, came over from a book called the shadow pact.

Um, ultimately they reformed that into the justice league dark and justice league dark did really well, even though I didn't read a lot of just very little, just a few issues of justice league dark.

Cause it was, this concept started coming out after I had stopped reading, but it was a great concept.

It was a great way to elevate the shadow pact thing, which was like the magic justice league concept.

And then you come in and you announce some Swamp Thing.
