Kelly Macdonald

And then Aaron Pierre, who was fantastic in Rebel Ridge and has everything you want in a I'm going to be a superhero star, play off really well together.

And then a plucky cop with a heart of gold in the form of the wonderful Kelly McDonald.

We just like all the characters.

There was a good mystery.

Yeah, they did.

Also, Kelly MacDonald is so fucking

great.

She's great.

Great casting with Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre as Hal Jordan and Jordan Jon Stewart, respectively.

Kelly McDonald is great as usual as Sheriff Carrie Kane.

You don't get much hot Green Lantern action.

It's more of a guy's relationship.

But also, I know.

If Kelly MacDonald had the choice between rolling with James Gunn and rolling with Marvel after the way that Marvel has probably treated her, yeah, you're going to roll with DC.

And you're going to say, no, thanks.

I've already got this other thing that I'm filming right now or I'm about to film.

Oh, gosh, it was a lot of sort of reunions there.

I hadn't seen Kelly MacDonald, I think, in person since No Country for Old Men.

And it was great to see her.

She's always so good and so funny and just grounded.

Is Helen Mirren in it, right?

Kelly MacDonald's in it.

Clive Owen.

Helen Mirren.

this is the thing the way they but the way they made it um so it starts out and you're sort of like it's a buddy cop odd couple kind of thing and then all of a sudden it's actually like no this is about dads but also it's about like dads and sons um and and then it becomes about parents and children like by the end i was just Like, I was so deep in my feelings about all of it, I have to say.

And just, like, Kelly MacDonald, especially, her last few scenes, I'm like, that's why you hire her.

Yeah.

Because you have a lot to do.
