Mike GriffithGuestNow, eventually we'll get into the football game the way that we do all the time.
It's obviously a big one between Georgia and Alabama, but we also have a lot of questions being asked right now about how the potential for very serious weather could impact Saturday's game, what's scheduled to be a Saturday night game between Georgia and Alabama.
And I'll say just off the top here, look, uh, obviously, the state of Alabama has dealt with very serious storms before.
So there is a great potential, and I hope it's not true, but it is a possibility, that come Saturday we're talking about things other than just football.
Obviously, you know, stormy weather, you know, hurricane that turns inland into tornadoes, things like that, can be really serious and can come with like, you know, property loss and even worse.
So there is a chance that for people in Alabama who could be in harm's way for this storm, that it ends up being about m- way more than just football, and obviously we're very prayerful about that and very serious about that.
But we are a, also a football show, so for now we're gonna keep this within the bounds of what we talk about, which is the football game and how weather could potentially impact this football game.
And as I sit here on a Wednesday morning talking to you, the first answer is we don't really know.
First of all, when it comes to the potential of all of this, this is not catching Kirby Smart off guard.
Uh, you know, he addressed this on Monday, especially as it relates to his specialists and some of the stuff where wet fields and the potential for rain potentially impacts all of this.
Even at the very beginning of this week, Georgia was already on guard for, hey, game under rainy conditions or very windy conditions or whatever else.
Georgia was already thinking about some of that then, and Kirby Smart talked to us about that.
