Hey, the Capitol was hopping this last week, especially yesterday.
This is the last week of the legislative session.
By the end of Saturday, you know, the legislators are supposed to finish all their bills.
But there was one bill that causing all kinds of controversy that is actually already signed by Governor Newsom.
He is a young 24-year-old who's been going around the country exposing fraud.
You know, kind of an amateur journalist with a camera and a microphone, and he's realizing that there's a lot of money the state governments are handing off to nonprofits who are then just pocketing the money.
And so he's exposed this kind of corruption in Minnesota and New York, and he's come to California.
And California responded by introducing a bill, making it much harder for journalists like himself to post things online.
And so there was a big rally yesterday.
Over a thousand people showed up and we were there.
I spoke along with, you know, governor candidates and attorney general candidates and Sonia Shah, who you guys have known we've been working with forever.
She's running for state superintendent.
And so it was it was an exciting time.
And, you know, we even got some protesters, you know, the Antifa types showed up and but the police were there.
So if you look at the news, you'll see all these conflicts in the street, which really didn't affect the event at all.
Absolutely.
And especially too, good to know, if you just avoid the protesters, then you don't find yourself in a dilemma.
So you have the capability to stay safe and avoid them.
But Greg, you did such a phenomenal job speaking.
So share those around.
I know I was inspired by what you said there.
