And they asked them, what was the number one... career path or vocation you would like to have, number one on the list by a far distance was 57% wanted to be social media influencers, online influencers.

And you know, I'm not super critical of that except to ask this, influence who with what? And you know, you can't all be influencers because there won't be anyone left to influence.

You do understand that, right? And with what are you influencing people? And I always tell people, it's just a vague suggestion, wouldn't it be nice if you'd actually accomplish something first so that you'd have something to influence people? So that's just sort of my little thinking about this.

And so anyway, it was sort of fascinating me because what... we we i saw this week recently was what generation alpha is interested in now generation alpha actually is the next generation after generation z you're saying how does that work well the problem was we started with generation x y z we ran out of letters in three generations right so then we had to be a little boy that was a mistake we should have started with a So now we've gone back and we're using the Greek alphabet.

And they said, what do you want to be when you grow up? What do you want to do for a career? So I got the chart, here it is, it was Fortune Magazine that put it up, and it's fascinating to me.

We got online streamer, we got video game developer, we got, it goes on and on, artist, musician, et cetera, et cetera.

And when I first saw that, I was a little bit critical of it, until I started thinking about what we wanted to be when we were growing up.

But I mean, remember, in my generation, we wanted to be, you know, cowboys and movie stars, rock stars, astronauts.

What I do now, I tell evangelists, is there anything closer to a game show host in the Christian world, right? And behind door number two, asbestos water skis for skimming across the lake of fire.

And I thought, you know what they're really looking for is they're looking for purpose.
