Caleb vs. Maye Is Personal Now | Gordon, the Broken Line & Wilson's Debut

So let's get into it, okay? Let's start with the man of the weekend, Kyler Gordon.

He missed the start of the season.

Sunday in Atlanta was his first game back, and he played like a man making up for lost time.

Three sacks, two forced fumbles, three tackles for loss, man, and the game-sealing strip sack to close the door, man.

If you ain't clutch, you ain't much.

Listen to this.

Gordon is the first defensive back in 40 seasons to put up three sacks and multiple forced fumbles in the same game.

40 seasons have passed.

That's not a good game.

That's a historic game.

And on Thursday night, that man is coming for Drake May, okay? And I'll say this, you better get ready because they have a broken line.

Now let me tell you why May should be worried.

The Patriots beat the Jets Sunday, but it cost them.

It cost them a lot.

They lost three starting offensive linemen in one afternoon.

Moses to an ankle.

Vera Tucker to a hamstring, and Ben Brown to a knee.

None of them came back in that game.

New England had to go sign two linemen on Monday just to fill out the room.

So on a short week on the road, Drake May is dropping back behind a patched line against a defense that just sacked Atlanta five times and held them to 257 yards.

And it gets worse for New England, okay? Romeo Dobes, their leading receiver, he went on injured reserve Monday with a shoulder.

He is out Thursday.

Drake May is a talent.

18 of 32, 235 yards, three touchdowns against the Jets.

But talent needs time, and time is the one thing that line can't buy him.
