What I hear throughout the state, though, everywhere you go, the number one complaint, if you don't lead the voters into the question, is property taxes.

Are we tied with New Jersey? Isn't New Jersey a bit head on the leading state for property taxes? But recently, the most recent thing I saw is we were the number one in property taxes in our country.

It's like a second mortgage, you know, your people, seniors, you know, they paid off their first mortgage, but now they have to deal with the property taxes.
Now, how do you deal with that on the compound trail? And I'm not trying to say what you can or can't do, but as a U.S.
So what do you tell people on the campaign trail? And I understand that it's important to them and they want an answer.

I think everyone agrees that the cost of living or affordability is a big issue in this campaign.

So when cost of living comes up, I make that point and that Illinois has the highest overall tax burden of any state, according to WalletHub.com. And that this is the model that my opponent Stratton wants to take to Washington, I guess, being maybe the highest tax country in the world.

And that's what she wants to take to the United States, which I guess would be the highest tax country, the country with the worst credit rating.
