8:02
were
8:03
paid off.
8:04
They finally, they figured that out and they went back and they amended.
8:08
I think they've amended that a couple of times, but it's still being closed down well before it's useful life.
8:15
And they're doing this without providing for adequate green energy baseload because wind and solar is, you know, it's not reliable energy.
8:26
And that's the real reason why utility rates are going up and are going to go up more.
8:31
Of course, they're trying to blame that on data centers, even in communities that don't have data centers.

25 MINS LATER

33:48
And it
44:34
I could go vote.
44:35
Well, find out where the early voting is.
44:37
It's usually at your county courthouse for most of downstate, and it's easy to do.
44:42
Or you can sign up for permanent vote by mail, and we do encourage Republicans to do that.
44:46
And that way you'll have a ballot at your house in case something comes up.
44:49
You don't have to use it.
44:51
You can just have it and take it in with you when you go vote.

9 MINS LATER

53:43
And I would really prefer to not have to find that to see this experiment all the way to its end to realize how far left this Democrat Party can go.
6:10
Mm-hmm
6:10
... and we do encourage Republicans to do that.
6:13
And that way you'll have a ballot at your house in case something comes up.
6:15
You don't have to use it, you can, uh, just have it and take it in with you when you go vote.
6:20
Uh, but, um, please vote early, and, you know, this is a turnout election.
6:25
It's a midterm election.
6:26
There are a lot of conservatives and Republicans that everybody knows that vote in presidential elections, but they don't vote in the midterms, and that's why turnout is so low at that time.
8:13
... that just speaks it out.
6:25
Mm-hmm.
6:25
And we do encourage Republicans to do that.
6:28
And that way you'll have a ballot at your house in case something comes up.
6:30
You don't have to use it.
6:32
You can, uh, just have it and take it in with you when you go vote.
6:35
Uh, but, um, please vote early, and, you know, this is a turnout election.
6:40
It's a midterm election.
9:28
It just shakes it out.
23:04
she turned down so far?
23:08
I think three Chicago TV station debate offers, and some of them are not too happy about that.
23:14
Legal women voters.
23:16
I did, I think, three legal women voter debates in the primary.
23:20
There was a group that recreated the Lincoln-Douglas debate in Ottawa, and they wanted to have a real U.S. Senate debate at the same time.
23:28
I think that was about a week ago.
23:29
She turned that one down.

6 MINS LATER

29:42
Don Tracy, these people are so unserious, but it's very serious if they were to take power.
45:36
And yet your opponent is refusing to do that.
45:42
She has refused at least seven debate opportunities and candidate forums.
45:49
And she finally, just a day before, after we've been putting some pressure on her, she's agreed to a candidate forum in Chicago, which is her home turf and is sort of a, you know, a center of the socialistic movement.
46:04
people here in Illinois.
46:08
But not until October 20.
46:10
And Todd, you know, it's kind of, you know, we start early voting here September 24.
46:15
So it's just like a couple weeks before the election.
46:51
I don't think the good people of Illinois are going to put up with that kind of nonsense.
11:29
Yeah
11:29
... uh, fiscal responsibility is a place to start.
11:31
Um, one of the reasons why cost of living is such an issue now and such a problem for so many people out there that really are struggling, uh, to, um, stretch their paychecks, uh, to, to buy groceries and f- and fuel, uh, is because of, um, Bidenflation.
11:49
You know, uh, that COVID required a lot of extra spending by the federal government, and we did that twice, uh, under the, uh, the Trump administration, and then, uh, President Biden was elected, and then he did like a third, a third and fourth round, which I believe were unnecessary, and it's that third round, what was misnamed the Inflation Reduction Act, that caused what I think everybody agrees was, uh, tw- the highest inflation in 40, over 40 years, since the Carter years, the Jimmy Carter years.
12:20
Uh, i-i-in excess of 20, 20%, and that 20% is still there.
12:26
You know, it hasn't-- So we're still dealing with that on top of, you know, regular inflation.
12:31
Uh, so, so r- uh, you know, reducing, b-being more fiscally responsible about government spending is part of it, uh, because that will help reduce, um, uh, interest rates.

35 MINS LATER

47:44
What do you think of that?
49:04
Are there any unifying issues that bring all of those common sense people together that would lend to support for your campaign?
49:10
Well, I think so by I think the march to socialism led by the Democrat socialist and, you know, people like my opponent, Lieutenant Governor Stratton, has got to scare the Democrats.
49:26
You know the many common sense swing voters and even democrats out there, I mean it looks like from the recent primaries that the socialists are taking over the democrat party with some of their crazy extreme ideas.
49:43
many of which, perhaps most of which are supported by my opponent.
49:47
And I like to illustrate this to really understand just how different they are with some of these ideas.
49:54
I did a chart, we versus they, because, you know, I talk about defending the American dream, why I'm running.
50:02
because I've lived and experienced it, and I want everybody to enjoy and experience their own American dream.
52:35
What can you tell us about how confident you are in the way that elections have been handled in the state of Illinois and the way corruption has been participated in by those elected officials in the state of Illinois?
6:01
Are there any unifying issues that bring all of those common sense people together that would lend to support for your campaign?
6:07
Well, I think so by I think the march to socialism led by the Democrat socialist and, you know, people like my opponent, Lieutenant Governor Stratton, has got to scare the Democrats.
6:23
You know the many common sense swing voters and even democrats out there, I mean it looks like from the recent primaries that the socialists are taking over the democrat party with some of their crazy extreme ideas.
6:40
many of which, perhaps most of which are supported by my opponent.
6:44
And I like to illustrate this to really understand just how different they are with some of these ideas.
6:51
I did a chart, we versus they, because I talk about defending the American dream, why I'm running.
6:59
because I've lived and experienced it.
9:33
What can you tell us about how confident you are in the way that elections have been handled in the state of Illinois and the way corruption has been participated in by those elected officials in the state of Illinois?
3:34
Are there any unifying issues that bring all of those common sense people together that would lend to support for your campaign?
3:40
Well, I think so by I think the march to socialism led by the Democrat socialist and, you know, people like my opponent, Lieutenant Governor Stratton, has got this scare.
3:56
you know the many uh common sense uh swing voters and even uh democrats out there i mean it looks like from the recent primaries that the socialists are taking over the democrat party with some of their crazy extreme ideas many of which perhaps most of which are supported by my opponent And I like to illustrate this to really understand just how different they are with some of these ideas.
4:24
I did a chart, we versus they, because I talk about defending the American dream, why I'm running.
4:32
because I've lived and experienced it, and I want everybody to enjoy and experience their own American dream.
4:37
But that American dream under socialism is a lot different, and the left does talk about an American dream, but their American dream seems to be socialism versus free enterprise.
4:46
But to illustrate it, I did a little chart, and it's like, We we're rational environmentalists.
7:05
What can you tell us about how confident you are in the way that elections have been handled in the state of Illinois and the way corruption has been participated in by those elected officials in the state of Illinois?
