With that, let's dig into these training camp updates, because as you would expect in this day and age of media and instant news, though the Cavs have only been, uh, in Spain at training camp for two days now, there's a lot of information coming out of the Cavs' camp.

Uh, one of the things that really caught my eye was how a lot of players and coaches are talking about Tyrese Proctor.

But, [chuckles] players that might have needed to gain a little weight, at least they're, they're saying that it has happened.

A lot of the guys have been in the weight room really putting in work on their bodies, paws, and [chuckles] Tyrese Proctor is no exception.

After a summer playing with the Australian national team and being in the lab in the w- weight room, bulking up the way he has, early indications and signs are saying Proctor is maybe off to a, a, a bit of a head start in that backup point guard battle.

Of course, there's still a lot to be said and a lot to be done before we determine who our backup point guard will be.

But Tyrese Proctor from all intents and purposes is off to a great start at training camp in Spain.

It also sounds like, uh, one of our new players, Khalifa Diop, has been very imposing so far at training camp in Spain.

Cavs weren't used to having many, like, truly big, bruising, physical type of big men, and I think that has been a problem over the past couple years.

That is not the case right now, uh, with Khalifa Diop and Udeyi Jr., at least on the roster at the moment.

And it sounds like Khalifa D- Diop has been a, doing a good job of what he's supposed to do, push Evan Mobley, push Jarrett Allen during practices, during training camp, give that physicality that the Cavs are going to see in the regular season and need to be prepared for.

Uh, Kenny Atkinson talked about the team chemistry so far at training camp, saying, "The basketball will take care of itself, but we want to connect as a group and get to know each other better.

You have to adapt to a new environment and a different culture." Basically saying that, uh, instead of just staying in your own home city or going somewhere in, within the country, going overseas in a brand-new place for most of these guys will help build character and help the team kind of be forced to come together even quicker and to rely on one another.

And Jarrett Allen ref- referenced exactly that, the New York Knicks, saying, "Our new wing depth is going to give us a completely different look.

It gives us the exact type of physical perimeter, uh, size we lacked when the New York Knicks swept us in the Eastern Conference Finals last spring." That is facts.

And I, I, I, I think that's what people are sleeping on the most about this Cavs team.
