Uh, talked a lot in the first segment about the Mike Evans injury, because to me, the nature of the injury, not just that he's hurt.
If this had been, oh, he, uh, broke his ribs again, okay, that's a different, uh, I, I would have a different opinion.
But given that it is an Achilles tendonitis injury, that you've got Ian Rapoport now reporting, this is g- this is something they're gonna have to deal with for a better portion of the season.
You need to bolster your depth behind him, 'cause you can't guarantee he's gonna be healthy.
The nature of the Mike Ev- Evans injury to me puts the wide receiver position in that same spot.
I'd agree with that, and particularly given what the rest of the receiver position looks like.
... are missing Deebo Samuel, mi- you're missing Dejon Stribling, you're missing Ricky Pearsall for the entire season.
Um, the Niners are basically down to, like, their sixth, seventh, and eighth receivers in Jordan Watkins, Brandon Cooks, who was signed off the street, and Jacob Cowing, who, you know, frankly, the way Jacob Cowing's played, I don't know that Jacob Cowing would be on another NFL roster that wasn't missing five or six receivers.
Uh, particularly, and Kyle Shanahan said, you know, they're gonna take a look at punt returner Um, after, you know, another, another mistake fielding that punt so deep in, in their own territory last night.
