Andrew from Engine\_atomy joins Ronnie on the pod this week. LS to LT motors and everything in between! Damn Son!
We can give you a, a killer sound, and, uh, we could throw a cam in there." What's the Engineatomy cam look like?
We stick to majority the GM crate engines.
What we're trying to do is, is stick within those parameters.
We don't wanna void the warranty on these things.
That's our, our biggest selling point.
So we'll stick to the 430, you know, the 495, or the 525.
Anything beyond that, you know, we can, we can, uh, accommodate to, but at that point it's gonna break that warranty.
So-
... we try to stick within, you know-
Correct.
For the most part, the only, the only things that we do are, are bolt-ons.
So we'll take the timing cover off.
We'll, you know, throw the correct pan on there.
Uh, valve covers, intake, front runner kit.
As far as the mechanical portion of this thing, no, we're not modifying it.
We're retaining that two-year warranty, unless the customer has to have a, you know, a, a stage three Red Hot Cam or Truck NORRIS Cam, whatever the case is.
So, um, yeah, for the most part they're, they're all factory.
And that's most of the time what people are coming to us for.
So if somebody has a fourth gen, and do you guys still rebuild them? If a guy says, "Hey, I've, I've got a, an LS, I want you guys to go, you know, take that experience and go back." Or did you just kinda say, "Hey, we've gotten away from that because it, it's time.
Time is money, and w- and we wanna spend more time, you know, doing our dress up kits and, and creating that option of the crate motor essence versus really the rebuild and the remand."
Yeah.
At the moment we're saying no to any remands, uh, just because the crates are keeping us busy.
