Victoria Broderick won the TN-04 Democratic primary by nearly 10 points while outspent 12-to-1. She says Tennessee isn't red. It's neglected. Victoria returns to Breaking the Meta as the Democratic…
Victoria BroderickGuestMike WinsonHostWhen we first talked, the first time we talked, one of the things that we spent a decent amount of time on was the idea of accountability or the lack thereof.
A couple days earlier than the recording of this episode, we had a president in Nebraska talk about how it wasn't that big of a deal if Iran bombed San Diego and Los Angeles.
And no surprise to anybody, there's a lot of people on his side that are trying to say it was misconstrued and all this other stuff.
How... we both are on the same page when it comes to a president needs to be held to a different level of accountability.
I think the part that I think frustrates a lot of people is how, how do we actually like, how do we see that going forward? Because for the last year and what are we at eight, nine months, something like that, there's been no accountability, no matter what has come out of the mouth of, of this man.
So, Is that something that's coming forth from people in your district? I guess the question is, is that coming from people in your district, but also for everyone that's listening, how do we move forward on something like that? How do you hope to change that when you win?

This is always going to look more like Hunger Games than it would ever look like Handmaid's Tale.

And the only way to do that is to flip the house and to put people in power who are going to push back, who are going to say, you know, no.

When I'm having conversations with Republicans, Republicans who've gotten awards from my opponent, Republicans who voted a Republican their entire life, and they're like, I will never vote Republican again because of what this man has done to the party.

That is something I'm hearing in my district in rural Tennessee, where Republicans are taking my signs

And They were all very close to the same of you could tell that they were done, that they were sick of the lies.
