Justin LunenfeldHost[laughs] Dude, I'll tell you-
Yeah.
Dude, I'm not gonna lie to you, it's funny 'cause, you know, at the start of the season, I'm gonna be completely honest with you, I have been watching the standings like crazy, and everybody has been cooking me for watching the standings for so long and everything.
But the reason why you watch the standings when it comes to baseball is because of crap like this, where you will see a team, for example, like the Red Sox go from, you know, twen- 10 games under 500 all the way to that, you know, a wild card spot in the playoffs, being really good.
And now you got the Orioles, and now you got these other teams also under us right now that were way ahead of us in the standings at one point.
They control their destiny, and that's exactly what they're doing right now.
Yep
100%.

The Yankees should have lost on that Ben Rice error, but they won, which I'm not mad about.

I wasn't, I wasn't rooting for the Yankees, but I, [laughs] I wanted the Yankees to win.
[laughs]
No, that's fair.
Also too, it's like, you know, one of those things, it's like, okay, hey, do we want the, you know, the team that is ahead of us in the standings by a lot, or do we want the team that is, you know, right there with us right now in the standings? 'Cause, I mean, don't get me wrong, you know, the Yankees, I mean, they have been pretty terrible recently in terms of offense and stuff.
But when you look at the perspective of, like, hey, you know, as an organization, what are the teams that we are looking out to beat right now and are fighting for that wild card spot? And teams like the Jays, the Tigers, you know, you could...
The Rangers obviously, like you said.
So, you know, there's a lot of teams that are still in this picture, and it's crazy because the Tigers, they traded away Tarik Skubal, and they're still doing an outstanding job without him.
[laughs] Dude, I'll tell you-
Yeah.
