Yeah, you know, it wasn't the original idea of this trip by any means, but I very quickly learned... that I go crazy if I don't have something to work on while I'm traveling.
I can't do this just like aimless traveling forever.
And I do product development work on the side and just quickly realized that all of these places that I'm going through have incredible products these are like bountiful places with a lot of natural resources and kind of starting in mexico really i decided to start doing personal sourcing visits to places like salt mines coffee farms cacao plantations Etc etc, and I've kind of been building this portfolio both with client work that I do and just kind of personal visits that I do of Providers of sources of these amazing Products, I'm actually working on the CPG brand right now to eventually bring these to the market But I'm drinking some bring it some pink bourbon coffee that I sourced in Colombia about year-old beans, but they're still excellent and
Yeah, yeah.
So behind the scenes, we did a little, we tried doing a couple things for me, for Beam.
Remember that? That was beautiful.
I want to fucking get that done.
That'd be amazing.
But I saw, like, dude, you found all these weird little factories in the Indias and the whatnots and so forth.
So it's like you're not a slapdick when it comes up.
I think it's so freaking cool because I love... um i think um when i go to places like i refuse to buy stuff outside of the country it is so like um like if i'm gonna buy like good clothes i want to buy in italy or made in italy clothes like i need to buy it there or like i just don't like doing slop so like i'm in brazil like i don't want to um i had to drink the cabrinas the cachachas which is crap but in the south they have really good you know local beer um argentina you know you're gonna eat the meat and like it's just when you go to these places like you're a world type person it's like damn like i i don't want to buy outside of that country I want to go to the source one because it's a real deal it's fresh it's from their hands and two the prices are fucking amazing you know what I mean like it's like all the tariff games they have around the world so I think it's fascinating um I've tried to make my own little connections and try to play this game it's not easy like I remember I had a unbelievable beer in Munich in um it's only made like in a city just outside of Munich and this guy, my team gave it to me and I'm like, holy shit, dude, like how is this not, like why we can't put this in the USA? We can't bring this to Brazil on the beach and like, please let me be the guy that makes these deals because this will go, I mean, you can sell this for whatever you got to sell it for, but it's like, it's great.
And, but the guy didn't want to do it.
He's just like, no, I'm fine.
You know, I make my money.
And it's like August Steiner, the great beer for Oktoberfest.
Like they rarely, sell outside of it, right? But I want to get into it more.
I really want to get into the sourcing thing.
So kind of shoot the shit.
I know you did one project recently for a big influencer, like a bottle or something.
And this was like sourced from China, no? Or what? Yeah, that was
an injected, molded plastic product for makeup artists.
So that's working with a content creator who's kind of like a guru for makeup artists.
But that's my models.
I work with people that have kind of a niche following, niche audience and help them monetize with physical products as opposed to info products of which there's just a total overabundance of coaches coursing content, all of the above.
