Bishop & Friends October, 1, 2026

All right, we're still live on a Thursday edition of the program.

Bo and the boys with you for the next three.

I think the technical term is we're loaded up on a Thursday.

This is a pretty nutsy good Thursday, kids.

When you talk about a Blue Jackets opener, you talk about a fun one up on the lake for first place in the AFC North between the Browns and the Steelers.

All the while, Ohio State continues to build towards that big trip out to Iowa City on Saturday.

So we'll intend to get you set as only we can.

Mr. Finebaum, half hour earlier this week, so he will join today at ten o'clock.

We'll open up that mail bag from you guys coming up at ten twenty, then eleven o'clock, we will beat the house.

A little bit of a dip, little bit of a dip last week.

We'll see if we can get it going again this week on the NFL picks against the number and of course, the debut of Shelley time for two thousand and twenty-six.

So away we go.

And let's start there with your Columbus Blue Jackets.

Drop the puck tonight, game one of the season.

Um, it doesn't matter if you are the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Columbus Crew, um, the Aviators, the Guardians, the Reds, the Cavs.

It doesn't matter.

If you're something other than the, uh, National Football League, you are in a fistfight for our attention, an absolute fistfight for our attention, and that fight is from the other teams that I mentioned in that, in that little lead up there.

That fight is also with phones.

That fight is also with streaming services.

It's with scripted series.

It's with every single thing that can pull our attention in any single way.

It is a fistfight for our attention.

There is a section, section of you out there, and Bake is among them, um, and Reese would be this, I think for sure.

I would think it's safe to say this when it comes to Guardians, uh, that, that you are locked in as possibly anybody can be.

Uh, you probably watch most of the games.
