Coach, what was the biggest thing that changed in your eyes in that second half?

That was really the fourth quarter.

The company's majority owner, Belgian investment group D'Ieteren, said Wednesday that Belron shareholders are evaluating options regarding the minority stakeholder- shareholder stakes, but that no decision has been made.

Windscreen replacement and repair business Belron, which accounts Autoglass in the UK, Car Glass in Europe, and Safelite in the US among its brands, is led by former AB InBev Chief Executive Officer Carlos Brito.

The company's Chief Financial Officer, Humphrey Singer, was finance chief at Marks and Spencer.

The company reported a pre-tax profit of five hundred and twenty-six point one million euros or six hundred and twelve point one million dollars in the first six months of the year as sales rose four point seven percent on year to three point five seven euro-- billion euros, buoyed by strong growth in North America, its largest sales market.

So that's a name that might not ring a bell, but the, uh, names that it operates under might.

So it operates as Carglass in Europe, Safelite in the US, and Autoglass in the UK.

And this is quite interesting given that Belron is considering a potential IPO.

That's a listing that could value the firm at more than thirty billion euros.

because Belron is the most boring cash machine you've never heard of.

It owns Safelite in the States, Cargless in Europe, roughly $6 billion in revenue, fat margins, and demand that shows up whether the economy is booming or dying.

A stone hits your windscreen regardless of the interest rate.
