Reading God’s Word and Walking

Anyway, I want to get into the walking thing a little bit today.

Actually, I did some research in Diogenes, the cynic philosopher, and it gets down to the idea that Soren told his sister-in-law about walking and how helpful it is.

The idea that God would humble himself and humble himself to the point of the cross, be crucified by sinful humanity, is a paradox for sure.

How can a powerful, all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving God put himself at the mercy? I think sometimes God is treated as kind of a sucker, I guess, for doing it.

But it was the only way.

If we approach God in power, if we approach God as righteous, if we approach God in any way that he is, he's stronger than we are.

And we can't approach him that way.

We have to approach him in weakness.

So he met us by willing to be weak.

But he was a good cook.

So all those things are true.
