Melissa ProvenzanoGuesttonight we're going to it's it's I just read an article in the Oklahoma Voice about it, but the state questions, they're very lengthy, and a lot of people don't know that in the August 25th runoff that those questions are going to be on the ballot.
And how unfortunate that if you don't have someone in the runoff that you can vote for because we have closed primaries.
So anyway, we thought we'd have you on and take questions, too, if you have not heard about it or if you do know about it and want to get a little deeper into some questions.

yeah so just an overview you know there are really two pathways to state questions one is through the initiative petition process which is basically almost dead at this point not necessarily but has been really created in a way that makes it more difficult for individuals to petition to get a state question on

the other way is a legislative referenda And you can do statute changes, or you can do constitutional amendments through that process.

And honestly, that was a huge part of this session, were a ton of state questions.

So in the end, we only had, I think, four state questions, two that will take place in August, two that will take place in November.
