(Ep. 457/ATL and 29) Season's Eve

I mean, the first question for me is, is Dorian Finney-Smith going to be in the rotation? I think the answer to that is probably not.

He's 33 years old.

He's been hurt a lot the last few seasons.

But as Ansi always tries to do, he brought back a one-year deal.

There's two non-guaranteed options behind that.

But I think he's going to be like the 11th, 12th guy.

If there's an injury to someone at the three or whatever, or the two or the three, and he needs to step up and play, he's capable of defending 10, 12, 14 minutes a night in the games if there's an injury ahead of him.

So, you know, it helped the Hawks.

I guess the Hawks are, are the Hawks at 15 now? It feels like they are at 15 now, I think.

I think they're pretty

close to 15, yeah.

Yeah, and then the Hornets are, has bumped them up to 18, so they got some decisions to make on their side of the roster.

But it was a creative way to get down to 15.

Like, to me, Nimhard was...

the best ball handler and passer kind of in the guard group, but he's also just like 5'10", 5'11", not the biggest guy defensively.

He plays hard all the time.

We've talked about that.

And Brad and I did kind of the section of those guys that, you know, were in the back end of the roster for the capsules and stuff.

We talked about that.

He's good.

He's a good player.

But this is a path to get to 15.

I guess, you know, they have one more defender with length and some physicality, you know, enduring Finney Smith, even though I don't expect him to be getting to be in the regular rotation.

Yeah, I mean, it's a flyer, right? Yep.

Because prior to his injury, he was probably a top 125 sort of player.
